4. Anne (loves life, can't keep from getting into trouble, but always gets out of trouble, optimistic)
5. Gilbert Blythe (loving, faithful, selfless)
6. Matthew Cuthbert (understands a young girls
   need for affection and pretty things)
7. Marilla Cuthbert (tender-hearted if prickly, stead-
    fast, nothing ruffles her but love)
